The 18-year-old has moved on an initial deal until the beginning of January.

Nairn County manager Ronnie Sharp was pleased to bring him on board and could play against Rothes on Saturday.

"Ben is a player who is held in high regard by his parent club who we are delighted to have been managed to bring in," he said.

"He is a talented boy and has made great strides at Ross County in the last few years.

"Everyone you speak to about Ben cannot speak highly enough of him so when we heard there was a chance that he could be available for loan, we jumped at the chance to bring him in.

"Ben can play at right back or in the centre of the defence and is a powerful and aggressive player.

"We are looking for him to bring that strong mentality on the park to us and he is another player who we feel can strengthen up the defence."
