ROSS County chairman Roy MacGregor says he likes the idea of introducing a standing area at the Global Energy Stadium as soon as possible.
But he says it may not happen in the immediate future due to restrictions caused by social distancing.
The chairman confirmed the plans during a live interview on the club’s Facebook site, saying he wants to follow the example of champions Celtic in creating a standing area for fans at the Dingwall outfit.
However, the coronavirus pandemic has put those plans on hold, with social distancing advising people to stay apart two metres at all times.
MacGregor says it is something that they want to introduce at the Jail End area of the stadium, but says those plans are on hold.
