Ross County are still searching for their first ever win against Rangers as they fell to defeat at Ibrox in the Scottish Premiership clash.

Goals from John Lundstram and Antonio Colak set the tone in the first half with Colak also finding the net in the second half.

Steven Davis scored in the final 10 minutes as Rangers cruised to a comfortable win.

The defeat means Ross County have only won one of their first five matches of the campaign, losing the other four.

Ross County made three changes from the team which beat Kilmarnock last week.

Victor Loturi, Keith Watson and George Harmon all came into the starting line up with Jack Baldwin and Ross Callachan suspended and Josh Sims dropped to the bench.

The first real chance of the game fell to Rangers in the 10th minute when Scott Wright's cross found Connor Goldson unchallenged at the edge of the six yard box.

But goalkeeper Ross Laidlaw does well to charge off his line and block his shot.

Rangers took the lead midway through the first half. A powerful strike 20 yards out from Lundstram might have taken a deflection off Ben Purrington. Whether it did or didn't, the ball flew past Ross Laidlaw as the Staggies fell behind.

The hosts doubled their advantage six minutes before half time, when Colak launched an acrobatic volley from 12 yards out after connecting with a Scott Wright cross from the right. Which flew into the net.

Rangers made it 3–0 before the hour mark when Tom Lawrence and Ryan Kent played a lovely one-two before setting up Colak in the box to fire a drive past Laidlaw.

Steven Davis killed the game off with 10 minutes remaining as he managed to get on the end of a Lawrence cross from the right wing before firing into the net from close range.
