The hosts managed to find the net twice with goals from Zoe Morrison and Shelby Stewart.

But Caithness proved too good on the day with Carly Erridge scoring four times along with Anna Foubister,

Sarah Henderson and Rachel Campbell all finding the net.

The defeat means Ross and Cromarty remain in sixth place in the eight-team division with three matches to play this season.

Ross and Cromarty return to action next weekend when they take on league leaders Buckie on Sunday, September 17.

They are scheduled to welcome Sutherland to North Kessock on Sunday, October 8.
