The club, which are making their debut in the competition this season, have four games remaining in the campaign and currently find themselves in sixth place in the division.

The team will be looking for a morale boosting win against the far north outfit as they aim for a top half finish before the end of the season.

Ross and Cromarty will be looking to bounce back after suffering a 3-1 defeat to Clachnacuddin in Inverness last Sunday.

Clachnacuddin proved too good for the visitors in the first half as they stormed into a 3-0 lead at half time.

The hosts took the lead after 15 minutes when Nicky Michie-Macdonald opened the scoring.

Ross and Cromarty defended well for the majority of the first half, but conceded two goals just before half time.

Lucy MacDonald doubled Clachnacuddin’s advantage before Michie-Macdonald got her second to give Clachnacuddin a 3-0 lead at the break.

Ross and Cromarty threatened a comeback when they reduced the deficit five minutes into the second half when Alice Urquhart scored to make it 3-1 and give the visitors hope.

However, Clachnacuddin held firm for the remainder of the game to secure all three points.

Elsewhere in the league, champions Buckie look firm favourites to retain the league title after a 1-0 win over Caithness in Thurso.

Emily McAuslan scored the only goal of the game to maintain Buckie’s six point advantage at the top with three games remaining.

Second place Orkney do have a game in hand and kept the pressure on Buckie with a 3-2 win over Sutherland in Helmsdale.

Orkney fell behind twice in the match with Rachel Sutherland opening the scoring, but Reese Flaws equalised.

Sutherland scored her second to put the hosts back into the lead but Abi Coltherd levelled before Flaws grabbed the winner for Orkney.

In the other match, Nairn St Ninian were comfortable 7-1 winners over Brora Rangers.
