Ross County fans may want to wait before travelling down to Livingston for their scheduled Scottish Premiership match this weekend after a pitch inspection was announced for Saturday morning.

The Staggies would have been looking forward to heading to West Lothian after winning their first match in almost three months earlier this week against St Mirren.

That looked to give them the chance to move seven points clear of the foot of the Premiership table against struggling Livingston tomorrow afternoon, but the match has been thrown into doubt.

It has been confirmed that a pitch inspection will take place at 9.30am tomorrow, with temperatures plummeting below zero degrees this week across the country.
