ONE of the toughest cycling endurance races in Scotland returned after three years as Strathpuffer 2023 took place at Torrachilty Forest at Contin this weekend.
A total of 950 cyclists were registered to take part in the 24 hour challenge as competitors rode through the night to compete for the top prizes in their categories.
Cyclists had to complete as many laps as possible on the 12.5km course from 10am on Saturday to 10am on Sunday.
Gemma Baird from Knockando was the women's champion cycling 16 laps in 24 hours and 33 minutes.
