Oscars Bar C potter Gavin Phillips won the annual David Bremner Singles title after he defeated Kevin McAuley (Cromarty Arms) 5-2 in the final at Oscars Bar.

Gavin accounted for David Masson, Graham Campbell, Hugh Ross and Jimmy MacKenzie enroute to the final. Ritchie Ansell was the other losing semi finalists.

In the first round of the Cromarty Cup, Oscars Bar C eased through to the next round thanks to a 6-2 win against Oscars Bar A. Novar Arms Hotel A also booked their place in the last eight after a 6-1 win against Dingwall 147 B. Mark Cassidy sank the winning black.
