Oscars C win cup in tense shoot-out

OSCARS Bar C claimed the Cromarty Cup after a black ball shoot-out against Ord Arms Hotel.

David Masson’s break and dish in the final frame forced the shoot-out, which the C team won.

Hen House leap-frogged Ord Arms Hotel into fourth spot in the Dingwall and District Pool League after a convincing 8–2 victory over the Muir of Ord side on Monday night.

Oscars Bar C held on to their five-point lead at the top with a 7–3 win over Royal Hotel, Cromarty.

Novar Arms Hotel A kept in touch with a 6-4 win over Dingwall 147 A.

Oscars Bar A came from 2–0 down against Dingwall 147 B to win 7–3, while Cromarty Arms took a 7–3 victory against Novar Arms Hotel B.
