Ross County will be playing an unexpected match under the Global Energy Stadium floodlights on Wednesday night, as their match against Hibernian has been rearranged for this midweek at 7.45pm.

The match was originally due to be played yesterday afternoon in Dingwall, but the Hibees camp returned two positive lateral flow tests on Saturday morning.

That forced a postponement, with several members of the visiting squad deemed to be close contacts after travelling on the bus together.

Neither side will have long to wait for the match to be played though, with Jack Ross now due to take his men back up to Ross-shire in 72 hours' time.

County's last match was also on a Wednesday night, and they dominated in a 5–0 thrashing of Dundee at Dens Park.

The Staggies have similarly positive memories of the last time they played at home midweek, which was the vital 2–1 victory over Hamilton at the end of last season.
