Nankivell runs her way to silver medal

Tain athlete Constance Nankivell celebrated claiming silver in her final race at schoolgirl level.

The East Sutherland Athletics Club athlete finished second in the 3000m at the Scottish Schools Track and Field Championship at Grangemouth.

The former Tain Royal Academy pupils, who has just completed her exams, finished the race in a time of 10:24 to claim the podium spot.

Nankivell (18) said she was pleased with how she performed in what she described was a tough race.
