Michael Gardyne proud to pass 400 appearances for Ross County

Ross County were able to hold their heads high after last weekend’s 2-1 win at Motherwell, but it was also a proud moment for one Staggie on a personal note.

Michael Gardyne made his 400th appearance for the club and was presented with a commemorative shirt after the final whistle.

It was another landmark passed for Gardyne, who was already the record appearance maker and goalscorer at the Global Energy Stadium, and he could not hide his pride at the accomplishment.

“To make 400 appearances for one club, you don’t see it very often these days,” he said.

“Obviously I was here from a young age, and I’ve been here and back, here and back. Someone was saying it’s 13 years in total I’ve been here, so to make 400 appearances was good personally."
