Ross Sutherland have to try and speed past Moray

Ross Sutherland will look to throw the ball wide and go around Moray when they visit Invergordon tomorrow, according to head coach John Mann.

The sides met three times last season, with the Stags winning both matches at home and putting 50 points on the board each time.

So the two teams are very familiar with each other, and Mann thinks he knows exactly what the best way to get a good result is.

“The thing that we know is that they always have a big pack,” he explained.

“They like to play straight up the guts, so for us it’s going to be all about defence this week. We know that if we can get the ball we can run around them or kick over them, but we can’t give them soft yards by making half-hearted tackles.

“It will be one of those classic games where if we win the first 20 minutes, the game should be ours. We’ve just got to impose ourselves physically on them."
