Mann finding Ross Sutherland balance

Ross Sutherland are just a few tweaks away from hitting top form according to their head coach John Mann.

The Stags have had a mixed start to the season, with one win, one draw and one defeat from their opening three league games.

But having seen how his side has performed, Mann feels he is better placed now to know how to get the team playing to their full potential.

“At the start of the season we knew we had quite a big team, so we thought we’d slow things down and try and target the set piece,” he said.

“That’s great for our scrum, but everything else is tap and go, two-second rucks, offloads and going from side to side.
