Full time | Ross County 0–4 Rangers (Roofe, Tavernier, Morris OG, Defoe)

Three minutes of added time

90' Rangers make it four

Jermain Defoe has gotten in on the action now, twisting and turning to finish after somegood work from Cedric Itten on the left wing.

That marks Defoe's 800th professional appearance with a goal.

79' Hagi forces Laidlaw to tip a wide free kick over the bar, with his shot heading for the top corner.

72 Morris turns into his own net

Again there was just a hint of County starting to come back into the game, but that is surely the result left in no doubt now.

Tavernier again was instrumental, finding plenty of space on the right wing and pulling the ball back into the middle, where Callum Morris slid in to try and intercept only to turn it into his own net.

66' Connor Randall really should have one back for County, sending the ball over the bar from close range after connecting with Ross Stewart's flick on.

60' Paton booked for sliding in on Kent.

56' Tavernier doubles the advantage

Rangers' captain makes it 2–0, getting a bit of luck after Roofe tried to turn the ball in from Ryan Kent's cross.

Roofe's effort ricocheted off Reid and on to the full back, before trickling into the net past Laidlaw.

50' Last ditch defending keeps the deficit at one goal for County.

First Laidlaw is called into action at point-blank range to deny Roofe, before Morris makes a last-ditch block to stop Morelos' shot reaching goal.

The second half is under way!

Half time substitution for County, Randall comes on for Watson.

Half time thoughts

The timing of Rangers' goal was a sucker punch to Ross County.

They were just starting to threaten, and had a 10 minute spell before going behind where they looked the better team on the ball, but they are one goal down at the interval.

County are still absolutely in this game – Ross Laidlaw has barely had a thing to do other than pick the ball out of his net – but they will need to regroup, or else they will be ruing Harry Paton's missed chance just before Kemar Roofe broke the deadlock.

That's half time, and it's Ross County 0–1 Rangers.

45' John Beaton has been quite happy to let the game flow, but he has booked Vigurs and Gardyne on the brink of half time.

39' County have not been able to get into the game since conceding the way they were just before.

Rangers are still finding it difficult to get shots away though, with Kent volleying the ball well wide from distance.

30' Roofe nearly adds another, just missing the target with a first-time strike from the edge of the box.

27' Rangers take the lead

The visitors are in front after a slick move that resulted in their first effort of the game.

Davis played a good ball through the defence for Tavernier to run on to, and his low cross into the middle was diverted in by Roofe.

25' Great save from McGregor!

Harry Paton forces a great save out of McGregor after brilliantly taking Vigurs' long ball forward under control.

20' County are starting to get their foot on the ball a bit more now, with the out ball down the flanks to Stewart coming off quite a few times.

The problem is that he is so isolated when he does get on the ball in the Rangers half, it is fairly simple for the Rangers defenders to hound him off the ball.

As long as the scores are goalless, Kettlewell will not mind that, but it looks like it will be tricky for County to take the lead as it stands.

10' Rangers have dominated the possession and the territory, but they have found it tough to get a clear sight of goal so far.

Laidlaw has not had a save to make yet, but the visitors certainly look the most likely to make the breakthrough.

We have kick off in Dingwall!

30 minutes to kick off

Seeing Josh Reid's name in the starting line-up will be a big relief for all involved at County, who would have been left fielding someone out of position on the left side of defence otherwise.

That means Stuart Kettlewell has only had to make two changes to the side that won at Celtic Park last time out, with Charlie Lakin picking up an injury in Glasgow and Stephen Kelly ineligible to face his parent club.

Michael Gardyne and Jordan Tillson are the men to come into the 11, in what looks like the same shape again for the Staggies.

Regan Charles-Cook does return to take his place on a depleted substitutes' bench for County, which is two players short due to the number of injuries currently at the club.

Ross County: Laidlaw, Morris, Gardyne, Vigurs, Watson, Iacovitti, Tillson, Paton, Donaldson, Stewart, Reid.

Substitutes: Doohan, Randall, Mckay, Hylton, Charles-Cook, Wright, Williamson.

Rangers: McGregor, Tavernier, Bassey, Goldson, Davis, Kent, Aribo, Kamara, Morelos, Roofe, Balogun.

Substitutes: McLaughlin, Hagi, Defoe, Itten, Zungu, Barker, Patterson, Barisic, Arfield.
