Caberfeidh prioritise survival over cup run

Caberfeidh would trade survival in the Premiership ahead of Camanachd Cup success says manager Jodi Gorski as his team face Lochaber in the league tomorrow in Strathpeffer.

The pair who have already crossed camans twice this season are due to meet in the quarter final of the Camanachd Cup at the beginning of July.

But Cabers’ head coach Jodi Gorski is completely focussed on tomorrow’s league clash between the two clubs who are threatened by relegation.

“It would be a mistake to say that we are not interested in cup success but it is league first and cup second as far as I am concerned.

“Of course we would like to do well in both competitions but league survival is our number one priority.

“It took us years to make the step up to the Premiership. My aim is for the club is to become established in the top league that is where we belong.”
