Receiving a last-minute call to travel to Aberdeen to take part in a boxing exhibition only hours before you enter the ring might sound like a fight on its own.

But Alness boxer Aidan Williamson not only managed to travel to the Granite City and take part in the bout hours before receiving the call, he also put in a rock steady performance to claim an impressive victory.

The Alness Academy pupil proved too good for his opponent John Grant from Chirnside Boxing Club in Hawick when he won his fight by unanimous decision.
