THERE was a good entry for the Senior Ladies Open at Bonar Bridge/Ardgay Golf Club on Monday, well supported by local clubs with entries from Thurso, Lybster and Durness.

Results

Scratch and the Simpson Trophy — Janey Borley, Invergordon (13) 82.

Silver Division — 1 and winner of the Matheson Claret Jug, Maureen Wemyss, Bonar Bridge/ Ardgay (18) 71; 2 Linda Thompson, Tain (14) 72 BIH; 3 Angela Williamson, Thurso (20) 72.

Bronze One — 1 and winner of the Luke Salver, Fioan Porter, Bonar Bridge/Ardgay (27) 66; 2 Bel Shepherd, Royal Dornoch (22) 69; 3 Elizabeth Henderson, Royal Dornoch (26) 70.

Bronze Two — 1 Donna Matheson, Royal Dornoch (24) 69; 2 Cecily Vass, Tarbat (32) 72; 3 Sylvia Bremner, Royal Dornoch (36) 74.

Jean Russell from Tain was nearest the pin.
