Alness are smarting from their 9-1 hammering from St Duthus in Tain last weekend and will be desperate to end the season on the high.

Champions Invergordon are 17 points behind league leaders Loch Ness but do have four games in hand.

It is derby day across the North Caledonian League with big matches taking place in Sutherland and Caithness as well.

Loch Ness will look to end the first half of the 2022/23 North Caledonian League season undefeated when they take on Fort William at Fortrose tomorrow.

Ten points clear at the summit after 14 games with 12 victories and two draws, Loch Ness have been tipped as many people’s favourites to win their first North Caledonian League title this season.

Loch Ness came back from Halkirk United last weekend with a 4-1 victory as they continue their impressive form this season.

They are scheduled to take on Fort William who find themselves in fourth place but are 17 points behind Loch Ness.

However, they have three games in hand and will be desperate to reduce the gap.

St Duthus in second place are 10 points behind Loch Ness but have two games in hand.

They will be looking to stay in touch when they take on Inverness Athletic.

The match is scheduled to take place at Inverness Royal Academy to avoid any weather disruption at their permanent home at North Kessock.

An interesting contest is set to take place at Nairn tomorrow, as Nairn County A are scheduled to take on Clachnacuddin A at 1pm.

Both teams were out of action last weekend due to the weather, with Clachnacuddin A finding themselves in 10th place in the league and Nairn County A in 12th place.

At Migdale, bottom of the table Bonar Bridge face Golspie Sutherland and in Caithness, Thurso will be taking on Halkirk United.
