Invergordon Academy claim Strathpuffer glory over Dingwall and Fortrose

Invergordon Academy made history when they won the Strathpuffer 24 eights title for the first time.

In a close contest, they recorded the fastest time over 23 laps beating Dingwall Academy and Fortrose Academy in the 24-hour challenge.

Invergordon won the Ross mountain bike derby in 24 hours, six minutes and nine seconds.

Dingwall were second in 24:48:03 with Fortrose third in 24:51:48.

Invergordon won the title with just six riders who included Felix Beavitt, Sam Brown, Robbie Calder-MacKenzie, James MacDonald, Sol Mackay and Atholl Ross.
