Ross County fall to defeat against Hibernian in Edinburgh

GOALS from Marc McNulty, Christian Doidge and Adam Jackson saw Hibernian ease to victory against Ross County at Easter Road.

McNulty opened the scoring for Hibs after six minutes when he beat Nathan Baxter to a through ball and fired into the net.

The Edinburgh side doubled their advantage four minutes before half time when Doidge connected with Joe Newell's corner to score.

Hibernian were awarded a penalty in the 81st minute but goalkeeper Baxter made a great save from McNulty's effort from the spot.

But Hibs would find a third a minute later from the corner from the penalty when Jackson beat the defence to find the net.

Ross County remain in ninth place on 25 points, six points ahead of Hamilton in 11th and seven ahead of Hearts in 12th.
