ROSS County have swooped to land former Caley Thistle captain Grant Munro.

Coming days after reappointing Derek Adams as manager, the Dingwall club have signed the freed Inverness CT defender on a two-year pre-contract.

The 30-year-old central defender made more than 300 appearances for the Caley Jags between 1999 and May this year.

New Staggies boss Adams said: “I am delighted to have signed Grant. His experience on the pitch will be vital in the season ahead.

“He has been a consistent performer over many years and will add further quality to our squad.”
