One of three nominees on a shortlist that also included fellow Strathpeffer athlete Finn Crockett, Graham was announced as the winner as the Scottish Cycling Conference and Awards at Hampden Park last night.

The bar had already been set high for Graham going into 2022, as he took two silver medals – and briefly held a world record – at last summer's Tokyo Paralympic Games.

However, it has been an exceptional 12 months that built on his achievements in Japan as Graham became national, European and world champion on the road.

He also won the national jersey in the time trial and European and World silver medals, before going even better in the Track World Championships where he added another two world titles to his collection.
