Fyrish Gymnasts celebrate major success winning medals in competitions

FYRISH Gymnastics Club athletes celebrated success when they achieved podium places in major competitions.

Carol Ball (17) competed in the Classic Challenge Disability Zinc Competition in Perth in September and placed third on vault and beam and 4th on bars and floor, winning an overall bronze medal.

She has also just competed in the disability British Championships last weekend in Lillieshall where she placed first on vault, fourth on beam and fifth on bars and floor, finishing fifth place in the all around competition.

Kaycee Lamont (12) competed in the Classic Challenge zinc competition in Perth in September and won a bronze medal on beam.
