Banff 10
ROSS Sutherland stampeded to a bonus point victory to boost their hopes of avoiding relegation from Caledonia North Two.
The Stags ran in five tries at Invergordon to pick up all five points to reduce the gap at the bottom to seven points with second bottom North Police who lost 18-7 at Moray.
In a closely fought first half, Jamie Johnston's try converted by head coach John Mann was all that separated the two teams as the hosts went into the break 7-0 up.
But Ross Sutherland took control in the second half with tries from Ali Kennedy and Daniel Gordon, both converted by Mann gave them a 21-0 lead.
Banff reduced the deficit to 16 points with an unconverted try but Kennedy scored his second try to secure the bonus point before Matthew Robinson ran in Ross Sutherland's fifth.
Banff grabbed a consolation try through Fraser Craig.
