Billy Ferries wins at Tain Four Day Open

BILLY Ferries was crowned the winner of the McVitie and Price Trophy for the first time at the Tain Golf Club Four Day Open held last week.

He claimed victory in the competition after he defeated Euan Maclean in the final.

Ferries defeated Derek Byzinski in the semi final and Scott Macpherson in the quarter finals on his way to lifting the trophy.

Robert Sutherland won the Stirling Cup beating Tommy Waddell in the final.

Jim Hutcheson won the Munro Rose Bowl Trophy beating Simon Houston in the final of the competition.

Thomas Dingwall won the Brookes Cup beating Ewan Chisholm.
