Ross County have announced a restructuring of their management team, with Steven Ferguson changing roles at the club.

The former co-manager is moving upstairs to take over the role of chief executive officer, leaving Stuart Kettlewell as sole first team manager.

It is expected that in his new role, Ferguson will have an over-arching responsibility for all departments within the club.

That will mean focusing and developing each function of the Staggies including the football department, commercial, operations, academy and community departments.

Ferguson had a successful spell in his two-and-a-half years as co-manager, guiding County to a Championship and Challenge Cup double in his first full season at the helm, as well as Premiership safety last season.

Kettlewell will be supported by Richie Brittain as assistant manager, with Don Cowie stepping into the role of first team coach.
