Ross County athlete Caitlyn Heggie wins bronze at Scottish Cross Country Championship

Ross County Athletics Club athlete Caitlyn Heggie won bronze at the Scottish Cross Country Championship in Falkirk.

The Dingwall Academy pupil came third in the under-15 girls' race at Falkirk, completing the course in a time of 16 minutes and 37 seconds.

She was nine seconds behind race winner Freya Campbell from Giffnock North Athletics Club and five seconds behind Millie McLelland-Brooks of Glasgow School of Sport.

Fellow club athlete Andrew Baird finished fifth in the under-15 boys' race.

Flora Sutherland finished eighth in the under-13 girls' race.
