Locheye Curling Club brew up a storm to win kettle

Locheye Curling Club members have proved themselves the best within the Royal Caledonian Curling Club’s Area 13 Group after winning a third Bonspiel trophy, claiming the MacGregor Kettle.

The winning team were (left to right) Richard Mackenzie, Christine Mackenzie, Duncan Clark and Calum Stewart and Helen Lyon presented the prizes. Locheye won with a record 108 points.

They won all matches by substantial margins, beating Nairn Ladies, Police and Strathspey.
