ROSS County began their pre-season game with a 2-0 weekend win at Highland League side Brora Rangers.

In a much-changed line-up from last term, Steven Craig shot the Staggies in front on 33 minutes, but they didn’t secure the victory until six minutes from time when former Caley Thistle midfielder Russell Duncan opened his account on his debut.

County fielded all seven new signings, including Kurtis Byrne and Colin McMenamin, while Brora had ex-ICT and County defender Stuart Golabek in their line-up.

Derek Adams’ team are in action again on Tuesday night when they travel to Highland League opponents Clach.
