It was a disjointed performance from Ross County as they lost 2-0 against Hamilton in a game that was crucial to their survival bid.

Neither team got going in the first half, with fouls all over the park disrupting any semblance of flow to the game.

But it was another one of those fouls in the second that led to the deadlock being broken.

Marcus Fraser took down Darren Lyon at a Hamilton corner, and Bobby Madden pointed to the spot.

Dougie Imrie stepped up to take it, and just like Hamilton's visit to Dingwall a few weeks ago he made no mistake.

It would soon be 2-0. The ball wasn’t cleared and Danny Redmond played it through to the very impressive David Templeton in acres of space, who put it past Scott Fox to double the Accies advantage.

It could have been more, but poor final balls and a couple of comfortable saves from Fox kept the deficit to two at the full time whistle.
