No complacency for in-form Caberfeidh

Jodi Gorski is confident Caberfeidh’s recovery won’t be undermined by complacency this weekend after past struggles at Inveraray.

Saturday’s hosts sit rock bottom of the Premiership after six defeats from six in a miserable start.

But the Strathpeffer side, in fine recent fettle, make the big trek to Argyll forewarned by past experiences.

Last week’s 8-1 battering of Lochaber will ensure Cabers travel with confidence, but Gorski’s injury-hit squad has been depleted even further.

“Three wins is the best run we’ve had since reaching the Premiership,” the Cabers manager acknowledged.

“We were good going forward against Lochaber but very poor in defence in the first half. It could easily have been 4-4 at half-time, but we were a lot better in the second half.

“We have never picked anything up before away to Inverary. Two years ago, they beat us twice in the one season – and quite comfortably."
