“The Camanachd Association is delighted to have had the opportunity to take one of our cup draws to the west coast of Scotland and engage with the community in Portree.
"Community is at the very heart of shinty which is one of the reasons cottages.com have supported the MacTavish cup and it was great to be able to visit the island of Skye to connect with some of our members in the area.”
Business development manager Christine Roberts from sponsors Cottages.com added: “We at cottages.com live and work in these communities.
“That is a core reason that we want to provide this support to shinty.
“We know just how important the sport is to the people in rural communities across the North of Scotland.”
