Bartlett hopes Irish eyes are not smiling in shinty-hurling international

CABERFEIDH forward Kevin Bartlett is once again set to pull on the Scotland jersey to face Ireland in the shinty-hurling international at Bught Park in Inverness.

The 29-year-old played a huge part in last year’s victory when he scored 12 points as Scotland beat Ireland 2-12 (18) to 0-15 (15).

After helping the Cabers to survival in their first season in the Premiership finishing in eighth place, the Strathpeffer man is hopeful he can end the season on a high and enjoy success against Ireland as he has done previously.
