Avoch teams take top spot

Avoch Primary School under-12s football club’s P6 and under team qualified in top spot at Charleston Academy to go forward to the next round of the Lloyds TSB Scotland Soccer Sixes competition to be held at the University of Dundee Astroturf on March 27.

The team is made up of Drew Paterson, Gregor MacDonald, Rory Adams, Angus MacLeod, Robert Smith, Stephen Kelly, Mark Davidson and Dean Ross.

Not to be outdone, the school’s P7 and under team also took the top spot on January 28 at Dingwall Academy, when it qualified for the next round of the Lloyds TSB Scotland Soccer Sevens competition to be held at the MacDiarmid Astroturf in Perth on March 21.

The team members include Gary Evans, Cameron Davidson, Robert Smith, Mark Davidson, Ruaridh Patience, Tom Kelly, Will MacNaughton, Gregor MacDonald, Rory Adams and Sean Mann.
