Avoch open up four-point lead at the top of Inverness and District Premier Division after seeing off Evanton

Avoch have moved four points clear at the top of the Inverness and District Premier Division after beating Evanton outfit Black Rock Rovers 4–1.

Avoch took a 3–0 lead at half time thanks to goals from Ryan Macleod, Colin Mason and Jordan Knight.

Michael Mackenzie pulled one back for Black Rock Rovers in the second half, but 10 minutes from time James Ross scored a penalty to kill the game off.

Champions Loch Ness moved into second place as they won 2–1 at Maryburgh.

Ardersier won 4–2 at Culloden Blacksmiths with Lewis Major scoring twice with Mervyn Grant and Scott White also finding the net.

Jason Duncan and Elliot Duncan scored consolation goals for Culloden.

Black Isle United have moved to the top of the Inverness and District First Division after they defeated Drakies 6–4 at Culbokie.

Roddy Maclennan and Aidan Hersee both scored twice for Black Isle with Joe Hersee and Ruari Rogan also finding the net.

They leapfrogged former leaders Balloan who lost 2–0 to NMM Sams to go two points clear at the top.

Danny Dempster scored both goals in the second half for Sams to move them third in the table.

Conon Bridge picked up their first win of the season as they thrashed bottom of the table Hill Rovers 6–0.

Louis Macpherson scored twice with Connor Ross, Billy Cairns, Cammy Houston and Roan Scobie also scoring.

In Division Two, Fortrose and Rosemarkie Union maintained their 100 per cent record as they defeated Tomatin United 2–0.

Keiran Fitzpatrick and Stuart Gammie scored to give the visitors all three points.

But they remain third in the table on goal difference after leaders Ferrybache thrashed Ness City 10–2 in Inverness.

Highland Hospice are in second place after they beat Ness Thistle 3–2 and are one goal ahead of Fortrose and Rosemarkie Union.

Gellions picked up their first win of the season as they thrashed Highland Athletic 9–1.

Clachnacuddin Under-20’s strolled to a comfortable victory 5–0 of G16 United at Bught Park.
