Manager Martyn MacAllister will lead his team out as the only club from Ross-shire left in the tournament.

Avoch are in second place in the Inverness and District Premier League, one place above Loch Ness in third but only on goal difference.

Avoch are the second most successful team in the competition, having won it six times, with Caithness outfit Pentland United the only club having won it more times with eight victories.

But Avoch have not won the trophy since 2017, when they beat Caithness club Staxigoe United 2-1 in the final at Dudgeon Park in Brora.

Meanwhile, Loch Ness are looking to win the Highland Amateur Cup for the first time.

No team from Inverness has ever won the Highland Amateur Cup.

In the other quarter final played tomorrow, Clachnacuddin Reserves will take on North West Sutherland League One champions Golspie Stafford.

The match has been switched to Grant Street Park, the home of Clachnacuddin, from Bught Park in Inverness due to the Inverness Highland Games.

Stromness Athletic will take on Lerwick Spurs in Orkney next Saturday.

It has also been confirmed Wick Groats have automatically progressed to the semi finals after opponents Lerwick Celtic decided to withdraw from the competition.

The teams had been due to meet at Wick’s Upper Bignold Park on the rearranged date of Saturday, July 29,

But the Shetland side are unable to field a team due to an inter-county match against Orkney on the same date.

Teams from Orkney, Shetland and Western Isles were given dispensation to move quarter final ties from July 15 due to the Island Games in Guernsey.

But organisers said Wick Groats and Lerwick Celtic were unable to agree a suitable alternative date.
