Ardross athlete is North District Half Marathon champion

ARDROSS athlete Catriona Fraser was crowned North District Champion at the Inverness Half Marathon on Sunday.

The Inverness Harriers athlete claimed the title with a time of 81 minutes and 49 seconds.

Louise Cartmell of Moray Road Runners, claimed a silver medal in the north championship finishing in 82:49.

Zoe Harding from Highland Hill Runners claimed the bronze medal finishing in 87:05.

In the men’s competition, Kenny Wilson of Moray Road Runners won the north title.

He claimed top spot in the north race with a time of 67 minutes and 29 seconds.

Rob Sinclair of Highland Hill Runners finished in second place with a time of 68:22.

Ruairidh Gollan of East Sutherland Athletics Club finished in third place in 68:34.

Four athletes from Ross County completed the Inverness Half Marathon.

Adam Maclellan completed the race in a time 81:10.

Michael Hoult crossed the line in a time of 86:57.

Kate Comisso finished in 90:18 with Alison Heggie also competing the 13.1 mile course in a time of 105:55.
