Alness United homecoming called off as Scourie players forced to self isolate

Alness United's homecoming game against Scourie has been called off after players from the north Sutherland club have been forced to self isolate.

The two teams were due to meet in North Caledonian League Division Two at Dalmore Park in what would have been United's first match in Alness in years.

However, the North Caledonian Football Association have announced the match has been postponed due to players from Scourie being forced to self isolate.

A statement on the league Facebook site said: "As a precautionary measure, with several Scourie players having to self isolate, tomorrow’s Macleod & MacCallum Ness Cup League Two match between Alness and Scourie has been postponed."
