ALNESS United remain favourites to win North Caledonian League Division Two as they hammered Loch Ness at Canal Park in Inverness.

Ryan McFee scored his second successive hat trick finding the net three times in the first 38 minutes.

He broke the deadlock in less than 60 seconds and doubled United's advantage after 15 minutes.

Ryan Macleod pulled one back for Loch Ness nine minutes before half time but McFee restored Alness's two goal advantage two minutes later.

Michael Mackenzie and Ryan Stewart both scored in the second half for a comprehensive victory for the visitors.

Alness are now two points behind leaders Nairn County A and one point Inverness Athletic who face tomorrow. But Alness will have three games in hand on both teams.
