ALNESS athlete Abbie McNally became a world champion when she raced her way to victory in the 200 metres at the Cerebral Palsy World Games.

The 17-year-old Inverness Harrier claimed gold in Barcelona on Friday winning the race with a personal best time of 31:48 seconds.

On Thursday, she claimed silver in the 100 metres in a time of 15:22 seconds.
