There, King made 24 appearances across all competitions, scoring two goals.

The midfielder has also spent time at Crewe Alexandra, where he made 18 appearances, and has played seven times for parent club Cardiff – including five appearances in the English Championship.

A Ross County club statement read: "Ross County FC are delighted to announce the signing of talented midfielder Eli King on loan from Cardiff City.

"Eli, 21, joins us from the Championships side following a successful loan spell with Morecambe where he quickly became a fan favourite. Welcome to the club, Eli!"
