Evanton is setting the scene to celebrate Earth Day on Sunday, April 23.

Evanton Community Trust in collaboration with Evanton Community Woods, The Art Fidget, Seeds of Scotland, Friddy at Home, and Jessica Anne Christman amongst others, aims to bring people together to celebrate life and the planet.

The Trust said: "Recent events have brought us together as a community and made us realise just how much we care about the planet, and that we have a lot of creative approaches to tackling climate change and harmful waste to share with everyone interested. Come along to find out.

"For example through the reuse of materials, foraging and eating locally, planting more seeds and bee friendly flowers, cycling, getting out in nature and doing art to reconnect. Evanton Community Trust invites families and all ages to join in the fun. Addressing our impact on the planet is THE most important topic of our times and thankfully it's fun too when collaborating with partners."

The event runs from 1-4pm on April 23.
