Woman issued with fixed penalty after three-vehicle crash in Easter Ross town of Tain, Police Scotland confirms

A WOMAN has been issued with a fixed penalty ticket following a three-vehicle crash in an Easter Ross town.

Police said that no one was hurt in the incident which happened on Geanies Street in Tain at around 2.40pm.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 2.40pm on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, police attended a non-injury, three-vehicle road crash on Geanies Street, Tain. Advice and assistance given. Road now open.

"A woman has been charged with an alleged road traffic offence and was issued with a Fixed Penalty Ticket."

Invergordon Fire Station earlier tweeted that one of its appliances had initially been mobilised alongside crews from Tain, Dornoch and Balintore but that a stop message had been issued whilst it was en route.
