A row has broken out about whether Scottish and English government policy on wearing face masks should follow the same advice.

In England it is expected that the use of facemasks will become a "personal responsibility" after July 19 when restrictions are set to ease.

While it is expected that the Scottish Government will continue to make them mandatory even after restrictions are eased further in August.

At present it is compulsory for people, over the age of five, when indoors –including when shopping or in bars and restaurants – to wear a face mask.

But with the so-called "freedom days" bringing many restrictions to an end, it is understood that face masks will still be required in Scotland, but not in England.

So what do you think, tell us in our poll below: will you continue to wear a face mask when restrictions ease?
