Dingwall supermarket Tesco introduces 'quiet hour' in run-up to Christmas at these times

PEOPLE put off by the hustle and bustle of the supermarket shop are being offered a welcome respite from the Dingwall branch of a national retailer.

Tesco Dingwall's Quiet Hour from 9am until 10am will run every day from Wednesday, December 13 until Sunday, December 24.

The Quiet Hour aims to release some of the stress of the festive season for shoppers.

The store's community champion Michelle Mackay explained: "We are committed to making everyone's shopping trip in store as seamless as possible, especially at this time of year."

During this time there will be:

  • No music playing
  • No tannoy announcements
  • Minimal cages
  • Dimmer lights than usual

Michelle added: "We also have three sensory borrow bags available to borrow for the duration of your shopping trip, available from the customer service desk."
