TWO Wester Ross schools will remain closed today because of bad weather.

Gairloch High School, Gairloch Primary and its associated nursery will be closed, according to Highland Council.

It updates a list of school closures due to bad weather on its website each school day morning.

The Met Office first issued a Yellow weather warning for snow on Saturday.

It has since been updated and extended and now runs until midday on Friday.

Gairloch High said it anticipates being open again tomorrow and has flagged Google Classroom activities for pupils meantime.

This story will be updated if further closures are added.
