DOCTORS in Torridon are attempting to consult by video and telephone where possible to minimise the spread of the coronavirus.

Posting on their Facebook page, Torridon Medical Practice said that video consultations would be a "great help", if people are able to do them.

A spokesman said: "The doctors are currently trying to consult as much as possible by telephone and video. It is often a great help to us to be able to see people by video.

"If you have access to a computer or smartphone, the link for video consultations is https://nhsattend.vc/gpnearme/torridon

"If you would like a video consultation, please phone and ask.

"The doctor will initially contact you by phone at your appointment time and then start the video consultation."
