WATCH: Stunning timelapse film shot from hotel bedroom window shows hulks of the deep on the move in Cromarty Firth

A TIMELAPSE film shot from a Black Isle hotel of familiar structures in the Cromarty Firth on the move is attracting admiring views.

The Royal Hotel in Cromarty shared the eye-catching footage on its Facebook page.

Heading the clip 'Meanwhile in Cromarty - the ever-changing view from the Royal', it posted: "There's always something to watch!

"Make sure you watch to the end of the time lapse, I reckon it’s pretty cool..."

A number of people have taken to Facebook to comment.

Patrick Mullery posted: "What with the yellow legs gone and now this one, we have our view back after so many years!"

Tony Fraser observed: "Another rusting hulk removed from the firth! But for how long?"

Charlotte Michael stated: "Wow! They always seem so permanent, standing there. A reminder they're not!"

And Keith Greenfield simply stated: "Love this!!"

The hotel on Marine Terrace overlooks the historic harbour boasts views over the Cromarty Firth.
