ROSS County FC is already looking ahead to next season with the impending launch of its new kit.

The Dingwall-based club is teasing the new look on its social media channels today.

By the time the Staggies' new kit is unveiled on Monday, the Dingwall club's fans will know which league their favourites will be playing in next season.

There's the small matter of a two-legged home and away premiership survival battle to negotiate first.

The first leg is taking place in Maryhill tonight at the home of Partick Thistle Football Club.

The Glasgow side is hoping for a return to the top flight and has been in good form to battle its way to grab the opportunity.

The crunch return tie is at the Global Energy Stadium in Dingwall on Sunday afternoon.

County's defeat at Kilmarnock earlier in the week meant the club finished in 11th place, thus facing a play-off with the Scottish Football League First Division outfit, who finished in fourth place.

It's set to be an emotional weekend for Highland football fans whatever happens with Inverness Caledonian Thistle having a tilt at league Premiership champions Celtic at Hampden in the Scottish Cup final.
